Lost Worlds, the first-ever location-based non-fungible token (NFT) platform, has announced the launch of a new Creation Portal that simplifies the creation and deployment of geographically-linked digital collectibles, known as “geoNFTs.”

Similar to the popular augmented reality game Pokémon Go, Lost WorldsNFT enthusiasts have the chance to discover NFT drop locations in their locality and around the globe. These digital collectibles, which are linked to physical locations in a way that enhances the interactive experience, are closely tied to physical locations.

Upon accessing the platform’s website, users can connect their wallets, activate geolocalization, and explore the map to locate geoNFT drops nearby or worldwide. Once in a drop zone users can mint their GeoNFTs.

GeoNFTs can be used by businesses in various sectors to increase customer engagement and loyalty.
