Animoca Brands is extending its commitment to Web3 with a strategic partnership with King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology.
The collaboration, as detailed in a release to Cryptoflies by the two companies, aims to foster Web3 innovation and gaming in the region through a physical Web3 hub in Riyadh that will serve as an incubator for startups specialising in Web3 technologies.
The Web3 hub is also expected to play a key role in advancing the research across a variety of domains including Web3, Blockchain, gaming, AI, and the metaverse. It will also facilitate partnerships between local universities and educational programs that focus on these emerging technologies.
As part the collaboration, Animoca Brands provides consultancy services on tokenomics and Web3 economy to projects and businesses, while KACST provides office space to meet Web3 startups’ physical infrastructure requirements.
KACST, established in 1977, is an independent governmental organization that promotes the advancement of science and technologies and facilitates collaboration among different scientific institutions in Saudi Arabia.
This collaboration with KACST is another strategic move by Animoca Brands to advance Web3.
